CargoKits Threaded Insert Kit
The Threaded Insert Kit has the necessary hardware to install a metal threaded insert into your CargoKits Plastic Decking Material. The Hardware includes (4) 1/4-20 threaded inserts, and (4) 5/8" Stainless Steel Machine Screws. Installation is simple, drill a 3/8" hole in the desired location, slightly chamfer the holes edge with a counter sink bit, and thread the insert into the hole until it is flush with the surface. I the insert tightens down and is not flush you need to chamfer the hole a bit more. This Kit allows you to secure gear if it does not line up with the extrusion tracks.
